The Julia Fischer Quartet embarks on a major European tour starting next week. With the renowned musicians of her quartet - violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky, violist Nils Mönkemeyer and cellist Benjamin Nyffenegger - Julia Fischer has been enthusiastically performing chamber music in various constellations for several years.
The tour program includes Mozart's so-called "Dissonance Quartet" KV 465, Janáček's String Quartet No. 2 "Intimate Letters" and Smetana's String Quartet No. 1 in E minor "From My Life".
