After initially studying musicology in Frankfurt, she completed her vocal training with Rudolf Piernay and Snežana Stamenković at the Mannheim University of Music, receiving significant inspiration for contemporary repertoire from Caroline Melzer. She gained international recognition with a last-minute appearance as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Glyndebourne Festival.
She has appeared at major houses including the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, the Semperoper Dresden, the Stuttgart State Opera, the Komische Oper Berlin, the Hamburg State Opera, the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, the Theater an der Wien, the Norwegian National Opera in Oslo, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, and the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. Her roles include the Queen of the Night, Adele (Die Fledermaus), Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), Dorinda (Orlando), Morgana (Alcina), and Ännchen (Der Freischütz).
