Together with the hr-Sinfoniorchester, Manfred Honeck gives the German premiere of the orchestral work Elysium by Canadian composer Samy Moussa. The world premiere took place in 2021 with the Vienna Philharmonic in Barcelona's Sagrada Familia. Also on the programme for the concerts on 11, 12 and 13 October: Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 and Shostakovich's 1st Cello Concerto with soloist Pablo Ferrández.
