Katharina Klapsing studied philosophy, politics and economics at the Private University of Witten/Herdecke in Witten. While still a student, she gained her first professional experience in the cultural sector at the Beethoven Festival in Warsaw and at the classical summer festival "musik:landschaft westfalen". In addition to her current job, she is studying media and cultural management at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg.
