Jukka-Pekka Saraste and the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra will present the new organ at Musiikkitalo on 10 and 11 January 2024. The spectacular instrument, the largest modern concert hall organ, will be heard in "Earth Shadows" by Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho, framed by works by Messiaen's "Les offrandes oubliées" and Mahler's monumental 6th Symphony.
