We are delighted to welcome the young baritone Jonas Müller to the General Management team at the KünstlerSekretariat am Gasteig.
Jonas Müller is considered one of the most promising voices of his generation. He made his debut at the Cologne Philharmonic Hall with the WDR (Bach's “Christmas Oratorio”) in 2024 and has performed in renowned venues such as the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, the Munich Isar Philharmonic Hall, and Hong Kong City Hall. He has worked with conductors such as Frieder Bernius, Christoph Poppen, Hans-Christoph Rademann, and Roberto González-Monjas. Festival appearances have taken him to the Heidelberg Spring Festival, the Schumann Festival in Düsseldorf, and the Pierre Boulez Hall in Berlin, among others. From the 2025/26 season onwards, he will be a member of the International Opera Studio of the Frankfurt Opera.
As a prize winner of the Hugo Wolf Academy's 2024 International Competition for Lied Artistry, Jonas Müller has made a name for himself primarily in the field of lieder. This love of song and chamber music also led him to found the “Ohefest” festival in Niederalteich, Lower Bavaria, in 2024, where his singing career as a soprano in the boys' choir began.
We at the KünstlerSekretariat am Gasteig look forward to working with him – your contact persons here are Anne Bilodeau or Verena Vetter.
