On her new Album Homage to Heifetz, together with Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, María Dueñas pays tribute to legendary violinist Jascha Heifetz, whose recordings have inspired her since childhood. Similar to Heifetz, she combines Lalo's Symphonie espagnole and Korngold's Violin Concerto. The album also features Miniatures by Debussy, including Heifetz's own arrangement of La chevelure.
