For over a decade, the Vienna based ensemble “The Erlkings” have been offering a new way of enjoying Art Song for audiences all across Europe. Their unique combination of instruments, together with their skillful and original English language interpretations of the art song repertoire have earned them regular appearances on many of Europe’s most respected song stages, including the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg/Hohenems, Wigmore Hall in London, the Heinrich Heine House in Paris, Konzerthaus Berlin and the Wiener Konzerthaus to name a few.

Their six studio albums include Lieder by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Joseph Haydn, all of which have been met with critical acclaim. The 2024/25 season will include the long awaited premier of their new arrangement of Schubert’s “Winterreise” at the Schubertiade in Hohenems, an artistic residency at the Oxford International Song Festival, as well as their first appearance at the Schumannfest in Düsseldorf.
