Artists = media artists? Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, online magazines, streaming, video on demand, it's a digital world. The KünstlerSekretariat am Gasteig consciously does not chase after every new fashion but positions its artists specifically and selectively in the ever growing and increasingly important media landscape.

In 2012, in line with the philosophy of the agency and relying on content, a separate public relations sector was founded and built up by Anja Rauschardt, carefully, with charm and in a very personal manner. By means of this agency-internal extra service we can offer our artists tailor-made press and public relations assistance. Through close cooperation with the artist agency side it is possible to react at short notice to surprising events, and to evolve long-term strategies.

We advise our artists as regards a promising PR-strategy and implement the concepts and ideas as appropriate. It can be a matter of individual and longer-term artist promotion, or specific, short-term projects such as an unusual CD new issue, the accompaniment of film projects or artist residencies.

This all happens in close cooperation with an international network of media representatives, press offices and CD labels.
